Seeing the Light: Exhibit Gives Hope to Homeless
Our list of current exhibits is on our Home Page.
Not long after I finished art school I got a fortune from a fortune cookie that read, "You will find a world."
I think it was supposed to have a second line to it. "...of happiness and joy," or "...filled with great success." The printing mistake had left it wide open. Just "a world."
Since that time––a time when some of these first pieces were made––I feel as if I have found a world. Whether in forests, cities, quarries, or cemeteries, this world of mine has consistently been outside.
In these outdoor spaces I make temporary alterations. Often where our natural and constructed worlds intersect, I graft these alterations onto places and landscapes.
In this world, fantasy has a way of briefly dropping in on reality.
